Gloria in Excelsis Deo

In caram Memoriam Caroli S. Bamford (qui duodecimo die Novembrir Anno Dom, MDCCCLXXI, anno aetatis suavicessimo quarto hac vita excessit) campanas hasce octo dedicavit atque in hac ecclesia parochiali Brunburgensis poni caravit Carolus Bamford de Brookhurst pater eius.



Translation of Tenor Inscription

In fond memory of charles Bamford who departed this life on the 12th November 1871,

in the 24th year of his age; his father Charles Bamford of Brookhurst dedicated

these eight bells, and had them placed in the Parish Church of Bromborough.
